Citizens Academy Alumni received valuable information and tips regarding travel and safety at the Jacksonville International Airport on June 11th 2014.  On hand were narcotic and explosive detection dogs showing the Alumni how they train.  Explosive materials were placed in a piece of luggage and each dog alerted their handler on the right bag.  Detection dogs came in from Atlanta, GA for the training.  The Alumni also met ASAC Lawrence Koleff who is the new ASAC transferred from San Antonio, TX. 

Authorities also encouraged flyers to apply for TSA Pre√ to save time and streamline the security process.  Shoes can be left on if you are Pre√ approved. For more information about Pre√ visit the TSA website at:
